Copper Bloom is inspired by a pottery fragment found in a creek in Italy, this glaze is a contemporary interpretation of the tradition of tin-glazed earthenware.
Hand application of copper oxide ensures that each piece has a unique pattern.
Bowl is thrown on the wheel. Glaze is hand-mixed, food safe, and dishwasher safe, although hand-washing is always preferred. Fired in an electric kiln to 2200 degrees.
